Pupil Premium

Supporting Every Child to Succeed

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to help schools support pupils who may be disadvantaged or face barriers to learning. It is aimed at improving outcomes for children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM), those who have been eligible in the past six years, children in care, and those from service families.

At Instow Community Primary and Preschool, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We use Pupil Premium funding to provide targeted support, raise achievement, and close gaps in attainment. This may include additional teaching support, access to educational resources, enrichment activities, or tailored interventions to meet individual needs.

We work closely with families to ensure this support has a meaningful and lasting impact. You can read more about how we use our Pupil Premium funding in our strategy statement and impact reports below.
